About ContentPulse
ContentPulse.co.uk started as an experimental automated news site indexing GDELT feeds. In 2026, we completed a pivot to become a dedicated programmatic video production pipeline for social media channels.
The Video Pipeline Pivot
Social media algorithms favor high-volume, highly engaging content. Standard video editing tools require hours of manual work for a 60-second video. To scale our digital presence, we built a local-hybrid desktop application that automates the entire video lifecycle.
Our ingestion filters process real-time trend data. Our scripting models generate engaging narratives tailored to short-form loops. Our hardware-accelerated render engines compile fully completed MP4 videos—complete with voiceovers, backing music, and word-by-word highlighted subtitle overlays—in less than 12 seconds.
Our Local Hybrid Tech Stack
ContentPulse operates as a decoupled local system split into two major layers:
- Native UI Layer (SwiftUI): A compiled native macOS application running on Apple Silicon (Sonoma or later). This serves as our human-in-the-loop dashboard to review trending alerts, approve scripts, and verify video rendering.
-
Ingestion & Processing Layer (Python FastAPI): Runs locally on
localhost:8000. It queries GDELT, arXiv, and GitHub APIs, runs Llama 3 scoring metrics, calls local Text-to-Speech engines, and manages the FFmpeg video encoder. -
Distribution & Brochure Layer (LAMP Stack): This website runs on a shared server, hosting our brochure activities and video archives blog. Every post outputs rich
VideoObjectSEO metadata, allowing search engines to index our content automatically.
Our Mission
Our mission is to push the boundaries of automated content curation. By combining natural language processing, real-time news velocity indicators, and programmatic video compilation, we are building a scalable digital publisher.
